Last year I was lucky to go on a month long trip to Europe, I decided to use an A5 Moleskine watercolour album to document my trip.

It started in the UK with an intensely arty weekend. First was the opening of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists exhibtion in Ely. I toddled up to the Ely Cathedral and took some photos to sketch later.

Then I took part in a three day watercolour workshop with the amazing Olivia Quinton.

Olivia has an amazing style and I can highly recommend her workshops!  Contact Olivia here to find out when she is holding more classes.

Straight after the workshop we zipped off to France.

Our 8 days in france took us from St Pierre de Maille to Laurenan in Brittany. It was from here that we ventured out to Mont St Michel, Vannes (to visit Olivia), to Landeneau for a Marc Chagall exhibition and Port Aven for some sketching. Our trip back to the UK was taken via Giverny to see Monet’s house and garden.
